How does shipping work?

Update: as of 9/6/2023 we have further improved our shipping partnerships and lowered our shipping costs once again, and therefore decided to switch to a simple flat rate shipping model. Now all orders under $50 ship anywhere in the US with a $5 flat rate, and any orders over $50 ship free! As a result, we’re discontinuing the “Beans Box” product line, which were designed to maximize the size of the USPS flat rate shipping boxes. Now that any order over $50 ships for free, there’s really no need for the Beans Boxes anymore, as every order over $50 gets the same free shipping benefit that the beans boxes had.

How long will my coffee last?

Our coffee is sealed in airtight bags immediately after roasting, so even if it takes you several weeks to get through all of your coffee, we’re confident it will still be much fresher and more flavorful than what is sitting on the shelves at your local retailer.

How long will it take to get my coffee beans?

Roasted coffee starts to lose its delicious flavor and aroma once it has been roasted, so we intentionally don’t keep a surplus of roasted coffee beans on hand. Our mission is to get the freshest and most delicious coffee to you as possible. We are roasting almost every day here at Bayside Beans in order to keep our inventory fresh. Depending on how large your order is and how many other orders we’re processing, there is a good chance that we may even be roasting your coffee to order! If our roast schedule is backed up beyond a day or two from your order, we will reach out via email to keep you informed. Keep in mind that we are a small batch operation, and no detail is overlooked to ensure that you get the best coffee possible.

Can I track my shipment?

Once your coffee is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email that will include USPS tracking info for your coffee beans.
